Provision is made for games, sports and athletics. Athletics and games are insisted on, and for this purpose moderately extensive playground facilities are provided. These events are to be given preference over personal activities. Participation in games and other activities during or after school hours is compulsory for all students. Exemption may be granted on written request from parents on genuine grounds only. Such exemptions shall not be sought lightly, as sports and games play an important role in the student’s all round development.
